Used Audi asking prices split as R8 climbs 4.7% and RS Q8 slips 3%

Used Audi asking prices are splitting by model, and the R8 is the one going up. In listings we tracked through Oct. 1, comparable R8s were listed at 4.7% more than in July, while comparable RS Q8s were listed at 3% less.

The R8 is the only one of the four Audi models we track with rising asking prices. The RS 6 Avant slipped between June and October, and the RS 7 held steady over those months. Compared with November 2025, R8 asking prices are up 9.6%.

The 624 used Audis for sale carry a median asking price of $87,400, and 177 of them rate as great or good deals.

R8 prices climb even as it sells slowest

Asking prices for the used R8 are rising, yet it is the slowest seller of the four models. A typical R8 takes 70 days to leave the market, and its 3.4 months of supply is the most of the four. Its market temperature is balanced.

The 4.2 quattro, one of the three biggest R8 trims, has a median asking price of $85,200. The 5.2 quattro asks a median $142,000.

A gray 2014 R8 4.2 quattro with 37,991 miles in Tallmadge, Ohio, is listed at $66,434, about $18,000 under its fair value. It has been listed 112 days, long enough that it is worth asking for a lower price.

The RS Q8 is the only cool market

The RS Q8 has the most cars for sale of the four models, 195, and is the only one with a cool market temperature. A typical car takes 61 days to leave the market, and asking prices are down from July.

A 2025 RS Q8 is typically listed at about 95% of a 2026's price.

A Nardo Gray 2024 RS Q8 4.0T quattro in Elizabeth, New Jersey, with 18,279 miles asks $87,493, about $13,000 under its fair value. It has been listed 136 days and has had one price cut, on Oct. 1.

The RS 7 moves fastest at 50 days

Of the 140 RS 7s for sale, a typical car leaves the market in 50 days, the quickest of the four models. Its 2.6 months of supply is the thinnest.

Sellers have cut prices on 39% of RS 7s in the last 90 days, the highest share of the four. Even so, comparable RS 7 asking prices held steady between June and October.

The cheapest RS 7 asks $20,500, the lowest asking price among all 624 Audis listed.

Two RS 6 Avants stand out on value

The cheapest of the 101 RS 6 Avants for sale asks $71,700, the highest entry price of the four models. A typical car takes 52 days to leave the market.

A gray 2021 RS 6 Avant 4.0T quattro Avant in Garland, Texas, with 43,403 miles asks $77,145, about $13,000 under fair value, after 102 days listed and one price cut. A 2022 in Kahului, Hawaii, with 39,400 miles asks $82,995, about $12,500 under, after 71 days.

Both are rated great deals. The Texas car has sat 102 days against 71 for the Hawaii car, so it is the one to push on price.
