Used Dodge Viper asking prices climb 9.7% since July
With 217 Vipers listed, 4.1 months of supply and 60 cars rated good or great deals, the market reads balanced even as comparable prices climb.
Used Dodge Viper asking prices rose 9.7% for comparable cars between July and October 2026, in listings we tracked through Oct. 1. Of the 49 models with a price trend, 14 moved up, and the Viper's gain was the largest of them.
Twenty-four of the 49 were flat. The Viper's monthly price level rose every month from December 2025 through October 2026.
One caution: the comparison rests on 36 listings in July and 219 in October, so the starting point is thin.
Comparable cars (same trim, model year and miles), latest month = 100. Data through October 1, 2026.

Rising prices meet steady cutting
There are 217 used Dodge Vipers for sale, enough for 4.1 months of supply at the recent pace of cars leaving the market. Our temperature read is balanced, not hot. Cars find buyers or come off sale after a typical 68 days, and 75 new listings arrived in the last 30 days.
Yet 24% of Vipers took a price cut in the last 90 days, with a median cut of 3.6%. Asking prices for comparable cars climbed over the same stretch.
The price ladder runs by year and trim
The median asking price across all 217 is $85,400. SRT-10s are the largest group at 85 cars, and the cheapest Dodge Viper asks $40,100.
A 2016 is typically listed at about 90% of a 2017's price, and older years step down from there. Mileage matters too: each extra 1,000 miles is worth about $700 less, a figure we use in the Dodge Viper price guide.
Three Vipers priced well under fair value
Sixty of the 217 are rated good or great deals (28 great, 32 good), while 79 are priced over fair value. Three cars in our sample show the gap.
A blue 2006 SRT-10 with 8,644 miles in St. Louis, Missouri asks $80,594, about $24,000 under fair value, after three cuts and 225 days listed. A Viper Black 2006 with 23,628 miles in Ashland, Ohio asks $50,393, about $18,500 under, after five cuts in 255 days.
A yellow 2001 Gen II GTS with 18,532 miles in New Braunfels, Texas is listed at $71,225, about $28,000 under fair value, and has been up 50 days.
Both SRT-10s were last cut on Oct. 1, and at 225 and 255 days listed they leave room for a lower offer. Recent price drops will show whether either has moved again.
